MGMED has a genome amplification technology, the MG Flex Amplification System, which can amplify genomic DNA of a single cell more than 1,000,000 times.
Whole Genome Amplification
MGPlex Amplification System
The MG Flex Amplification System is a technique to amplify DNA extracted from a single cell at a possible level for microarray analysis. Due to this system, we can determine numerical variations of chromosomes from entire genes and non-coding regions within three hours.
-
Efficiency : It enable to robustly amplify genomic DNA from a single cell with similar amplification rates in a variety of cells including blastomere and polar body, regardless of AT-rich and GC-rich regions. The amplification success rate is more than 95%, and it shows more than 90 % quantitative correlation with the genome DNA
-
Usability/ rapidity : Each reaction step is simple and can be completed in one tube within 3 hours. So it is useful for pre-implantation genetic screening which should be done in a short time.
-
Repeatability : The MG Flex Amplification System shows a high genome coverage rate through the optimal reaction conditions with a low variation between reactions. The amplification products also can be used in qPCR, and analyses of microsatellite and Single Nucleotide Polymorphism.
